Power Supplies

Power supplies again. Today I met with a friend who's also interested in electronics and we talked about the power supply situation. We came to the conclusion that it should be possible to use two power supplies, one for +20V and one for -10V. They have to be wired up like this in order to share a common ground:

I asked a certified electrician if this is okay but the screenshot itself is from a meanwell PSU manual.

If this works, I'd be using two of those: https://www.meanwell.com/Upload/PDF/LRS-35/LRS-35-SPEC.PDF

They cost 10 euros each which is a pretty good deal and would save me tons of work.

The 12V and 24V versions can be adjusted down to almost 10V and 20V and should be close enough.

Case

The original case is spanned with some kind of PCV material that looks like woven fabric. After some google searches I found a seller who sells two very similar kind of PVC fabrics that are intended to be used with guitar amps.

I ordered samples and will compare them. The original one seems to be right in the middle so I'll just go with whichever looks better in real life.
