Frequency Divider

I missed one IC and it's a rare one. The M3216 is a frequency divider which produces all the footings of the oscillator.

A replacement is being made and I asked whether I could drop that one in since it's named LM3216 and not M3216: http://www.flatkeys.co.uk/Dividers/LM3216.php

Their reply was

Indeed the LM3216 is the M3216 in the Korg. Korg seemed to do that quite a bit.. in the Korg PE2000 they show the top octave generator part number as M8071 when in fact the part is LM8071..

The circuit could probably be replaced with something discrete. The 700 uses a different chip which people have been replacing: https://sub-continental.com/diy_eng.html#minikorg Something similar could be made up in this case.

Two replacement chips cost about 30 pounds shipped which is a good deal since old ones cost around 50 or more.
